Francois Belair
I am Francois Belair: born and raised in Quebec and educated in Ontario. Iced Fire is my more formal layer for self-publishing. On a more personal level, as far as hobbies are concerned, I am a 2D cartoonist, a 3D artist, a coder, a gamer, a cook, a researcher, and an informal writer.
I initially began in a more art heavy college at London's Fanshawe and Ottawa's Algonquin before focusing on the Game Development course at Algonquin College to wrap up my long bout of education. I've been taught a lot, and have self-taught myself even more, and I am ready to make my mark in the industry. My main goal is to look back at some product and fondly realize that I worked on it and helped it get to where it is.
I am something of a jack of all trades when it comes to the games industry. My specialty is in code: I click very well around code and can think in design patterns, so I can code low level and high level tech for games. I've worked in C++, C#, AS3, and used APIs like OpenGL, DirectX, and XNA.
I come from an art background, and can handle myself around 2D. I voraciously learn 3D applications that interest me and have also formally learned 3D, so I have a knack around modeling, texturing, rigging and animating.
